ALLEY CAT RACE THIS SUNDAY!

Get your legs ready for the Alley Cat Race this Sunday!

- Meet-up at The Collective in front of Yadu 621 and Hocus Bicycle Shop
- Fixed gear bicycles only
- Registration between 2:00pm to 3:00pm
- Php100 registration fee
- Five checkpoints to be revealed right before the start of the race
- Safety first. Wear a helmet if you own one. Bring a first aid kit if you have one.
- Very exciting prizes and raffles right after the race
- Special prize for the first female participant to finish

Don't forget to bring a city map of Metro Manila and bike lock if you really want to win this race!

If you feel like hunting for bicycle parts, there will be a "bike swap" corner during the event.

Pedal Consumption did a bike check on this Brascona track bike. Jason Finn shot the bike with owner Andy Ellis of Fixed Gear London.

Now, I'm pretty sure some of you have seen a bike like this around the blogosphere. Patrick Seabase, the designer of this frameset, rode one up and bombed the Stelvio! He also used it for motor-pace training! Pretty awesome things to do with a bike, huh? I guess Andy Ellis is one lucky guy to own a tried and tested frame set.
